The role of Business Analyst helps support the SI business by bridging the raw data and its insights. You will aid the development of our global SI team with data preparation and its insights. In addition, you will support development and execution of our global strategy, enabling new business growth opportunities and reinforce customers’ perception of Bunge as a key SI player in the market.
What will be your main challenges as Business Analyst?
The ground zero of your future role is to always ensure the data is correct. You will become the trusted advisor we look up to while drawing conclusions from our numbers. We expect that the data you analyze is visible through engaging graphics and can be used for further optimization with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and other internal communications/coordination. Developing and publishing key reports/metrics and running projects that help keep the business and strategy on track are also part of the job.
You might ask yourself who will be reading your data? Due to the nature of the role, you will be highly exposed to the leaders of the industry. Your data will be regularly reviewed by the SI product line managers and the Senior Leadership Team. Your priority is to engage the audience with creative and insightful graphics.
Here is the overview of how you will divide your time:
Data Analysis and Interpretation (40% of time)
- Of underlying strategic initiatives and capex projects;
- Creating reports from the data provided by FP&A;
- Tracking and developing KPI’s.
Research & corporate financial analysis of potential M&As, competitors and customers (30% of time)
- Reading and interpreting JV and Acquisition cases;
- Collecting market data from internal and external sources;
- Articulating earnings potential of various projects.
Supporting IBP processes (20% of time)
Budgeting and Forecasting (10% of time)
Are you the colleague we are looking for?
Throughout your career, you created an interesting mix of experience form data analysis, finance, marketing and/or consulting background. Needles to say, you have already mastered tools such as MS Office (especially Excel), Power BI, SAP and Salesforce. Experience in Tableau will be huge plus.
Additionally, you have:
- A BS/MS in Finance, Marketing or other related area;
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience in Business Development and/or M&A in Food Ingredients would be of great value.
