We are looking for a new colleague to join our HR Analytics team and help us lead the way in HR Advanced Analytics and AI within ABN AMRO (People Analytics). Are you eager to learn more about this role please read this vacancy and apply if interested.

HR Analytics is a team of 15 HR-data professionals who support fact-based HR via dashboards, strategic workforce planning, surveys and People Analytics. We need the help of an experienced Lead / Product Owner to bring our People Analytics services to the next level.

Your job

As the Lead of People Analytics (HR Advanced Analytics), you work with the HR Analytics team, HR business colleagues, HR process owners and MTs across the organisation, on a variety of research projects. Internally, you will be the go-to person for all projects related to advanced analytics within HR. You are responsible for the quality assurance of the underlying analyses and findings of HR research projects, as well as the continuous improvement of the People Analytics service itself. Your challenge is to transform People Analytics within our organization to a higher level in terms of execution, stakeholder management and impact.

In more detail:

  • Coordinate and lead initiatives related to HR advanced analytics and AI. Make data-driven recommendations for People initiatives e.g. enhance employee engagement, NPS, organisational effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Provide actionable insights to leadership based on analysis results.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical and machine learning models to derive actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of data management.
  • Transform our current services to a higher level by enabling and motivating your team to respond to the latest developments in the data field. More specifically, we expect you to translate external developments into practical data initiatives and best practices.
  • You’ll lead a team of four data scientists / data engineers: you provide them with possibilities to harness the power of data analytics and guide them to further develop themselves.
  • Network within the bank, so you make it possible for you and your team to collaborate with various stakeholders and colleagues on impactful People interventions.
  • Maintain relationships with various departments and stakeholders and act as a centre of expertise related to HR Advanced Analytics / AI related questions.
  • You’ll report into the Head of HR Analytics.

Your profile

  • Minimum of five year experience in Data Science in a larger organization, preferably People Analytics;
  • A deep understanding of statistics and machine learning;
  • Experience in analytics and data related work fields;
  • Previous experience in managing change programs based on data insights;
  • Business acumen: a comprehensive understanding of what determines business success and ability to translate business challenges in both strategic and practical approaches. Ability to manage a portfolio of priorities and or programs;
  • You have strong networking skills, prefer to work together in teams and have the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders;
  • You are result-oriented and an analytical thinker;
  • You are able to demonstrate self-starting capabilities and organizational sensitivity;
  • Pro-active attitude and an excellent team player;
  • Fluent in Dutch is a pre;
  • Hybrid work: average 2 days in the office (Amsterdam);
  • Experience with strategic workforce management, data management, dashboarding, survey management is highly appreciated.
